I recieved my CS downpipe and race pipe and i was talking to the tech at the dealership the other day about it and he said i should order a new o2 sensor befor i do the install because he broke his but i forgot to ask him which one it was that he had to replace, also is this really that common of a problem?? Thanks!!!!

I didn't have an issue at all. Just get the right socket for it at the auto parts store for like $5. The stock one is kind of "protected" by a metal collar, so getting an actual wrench on there is nearly impossible. They make a specific socket that has a part of the side cut out for the wire...just go to the auto store and ask if they have an O2 sensor socket and you should be all set.

Use lots of PB blaster. While taking it out, do it in small increments - half a turn out, quarter back in. If you feel that you're forcing it, go back in. Take your time and you'll be fine.

awsome that takes a little stress off haha i think im gonna go get that special socket and some PB and go from there!
Thanks!

all you have to do is spray it w pb blaster when its still warm/hot. let it sit just enough so you dont burn yourself then work it out. not a problem. the main thing is making sure you dont letit all lock up tight and cold before you decide to take it out.

you can pick up that o2 socket pretty much any auto store. i think i got mine at autozone for like 9 bucks.

Not to make you tense or anything but a new second O2 sensor is $185 and the primary is around $300. I couldnt get my 2nd one out so I had to buy a new one. The sensors come out easiest when they are hot, so I would rev the car for a minute of two then try and hurry taking the IC and heat shields off and spray the sensors with some PB. I suggest just unplugging the 2nd sensor and wait to take it out until you fully remove the DP. Make sure to hit your turbo studs with a bunch of PB too, dont force anything just be patient. good luck man.

Edit: use anti sieze on studs an sensors when putting them back in..
