Doc they are talking about running with NWOR @ the Toledo Express Airport. And you can count me in I will be running FP in the RX-7 w/ really old 9.5"x13" slicks.
We'll be running the same course, probably in a different heat at the same event.I had a great idea when driving to my parent house the other day. I remember how fun the whole Mid-Ohio camping was and realized there is a campground maybe a 1/2 mile directly south of the airport entrance for the event. Just an idea. Nothing beats a weekend of fun, beer, bbq, and racing. I can call them to get some prices on a couple lots to see what it would run us. I would be done to stay there too even though I just live 6 miles from the airport.
and everyone would be competing for bragging rightsI'll get the dates up as soon as possible. They're having their awards banquet next weekend and I think there is a meeting following. Hopefully they will have the dates posted soon so we can get the ball rolling on this.

Unless you guys want to join in a pro tour event. I know I'm going to, but a small event might fit our meeting better. Usually the last date and the 4th our Fostoria event days. The track is set up the same every year and they have a record time list for each class. Nothing like racing on the Toledo airports ramp surface though.

Pro-Solo is without a doubt the most fun Autocross form factor. Lots of runs, head-to-head drag racing style competition. The only downside is you go through tires a little quicker than a regular autox. You take your runs basically 4 at a time back to back to back to back without more than a minute's cool-down.
