i turn key and nuthing, lol no power to windows or nething, checked battery and cables cleaned still nuthing , worked fine secound b4 this happend, i pushed the clutch and turn over started fine moved it over to a diff parking stall, then went to try a few mins later cant get the ne lights to work,no interior or headlights like no power to nething ,turn key everything is dead, i double checked battery and cables to it ,they are fine so nebody wtf happend....am i jinxed lol this never happend to me ever.......ne suggestion would help oh ya fuses i did that first, anything else ur sug helps

You checked the battery and cables... but made no mention of checking fuses, which should be the first thing you should do.

but i need more info, ive done all that....fuses and that....if one was out we would still have windows r sumthin rite? see idk ,im a backyard mech ...and know a bit about cars, ....ne other sug?
 
this may help...i used to be able too lock all doors while key was off,by pushing drivers door lock closed k, now it wont lock all doors jus the one.....if there is a power fuse sumwhere under the hood maybee, i tested bat and 12-13v in it...also checked the fuses.....does this help like the even the clock is off,is there an inline fuse between bat or sumthing like that....91 protege

u gave me sum ideas and while i was checking the fuses under hood i lifted the box heard a click.....everything went on,but of course didnt stay on...i did get it started but went to try again and wouldnt go but ive located the short or whatever it is ....thanx so much really i wouldnt have look there if u didnt say...i will update u wen i fix it tomorrow at least i know now were the prob is ,it may be a loose wire going into the fuses under the hood, oh man ive been all over that machine and ya jus lifted it gently to hear that little click was music to my ears....woohoo thanx again for ur time and suggs buddy
 
We've all done it, maybe not to whole car but we've all worried bout it, especially doing electrical stuff to these new cars.

thanx if u had not told me to check those fuse boxes i woda missed it, ne how the solution ws a loose ground bolt on the back of the fuse box under the hood beside the motor....it is common for this bolt to come loose now that ive asked around......and its well hidden,anyhow thanks 4ur time and efforts,my ride is a mazda protege 91, i paid a 100bucks for it last yr,the best investment i ever made....keep in touch and tell evey one this prob is common with this design
