Now,going for the exterior....hehe metamorphosis!

Actually the color of the can i used say "cast iron",looks bronze like you said.
not really thrilled by that color,i was hoping it was going to be like a really dark gray.
I may look for the right color and re-paint it,the H shield too.
Thanks for your input.

I will take the filter closer to the fender, thanks for that suggestion.
I am going to try to clean my MAF(which is reman. to new) and the TPS.
Now,pardon my ignorance but what is IAC? lol
The IAC is actually a valve just below the TPS, sometimes that needs leaning out. If you look just behind where the TPS is you can see it. I think there are 2 screws or holding it. Start by cleaning the MAF, the TPS and then the IAC valve and see if that makes a diffo. Take down the whole thing and do not remove the TPS or else you will need to recalibrate it. Use CRC Contact Cleaner or better to clean those sensors. JUst pull down the TB all sensors intact and get to spraying. The Intake flap can be cleaned with Carb Cleaner but use the Cont. Cleaner on the Sensors and IAC valve. Just a tad WD40 on the IAC, no WD40 on the TPS. Hope it helps some but I really don't see you aving to remove the SRI. The only thing with my SRI is that is uses back the stock intake hose with the bleeder capped off, then an adapter to 2.5" with the MAF to the K&N filter.

Well,on my way home from work my car started acting up,got so frustrated that as soon as i got home took the SRI ang put the stock intake back, car runs awesome.
So i will put this thing for sale,it doesn't work for me.
Thanks for all your advise,i really appreciate you taking the time for advise.

Don't give up on the SRI just yet like I said it could just be how that one is built so you can take a note off of mine if you like.

Thats one unique transformated pre-facelift. Have seen and advised a bunch to do the mp3-bumper but never seen anyone fooling around with the pu wingswest bumper. Good job.

I spent great part of sunday painting.
I finally took the heath shield and painte The same color as the valve cover, screws were painted in red.I used engine enamel to paint part of the throtle body.
I painted red just to give a more colorful look,i figure that if it look bad it wasn't going to look as bad as it was all greasy and dirty,so i did it.
Re-installed the short air intake and tried the Celica GT-s MAF i bought a week ago.
It works fine and car does not stall when a/c is on,i may have to adjust the idle a little.
Here are the pics....

Daaaaang man that looks goood! Just a little thought, the radiator cap might look better if you painted the little circle in the center that bronze color. Just a thought... Also I would have done the IM bronze as well but if you like the color thats all that counts it looks good either way
