Why. Why did it have to happen. My car did nothing to deserve this kind of pain....

It happened three days ago. I was parked in my school parking lot. I was walking towards my car to go home when I saw it happen. A brand new driver backed directly into the passenger door of my baby. She'd been driving for a week longer than I've had my car and she's been driving for two weeks, so you can imagine how bad I was feeling. I actually got very near the point of tears. Im not exagerating either. Very close. Anyway, shes gonna pay for it but Im never gonna be able to feel safe when I park my car again. The damage to the car's body can be repaired, but our souls will never fully heal......

That sucks! I remember when I was in highschool, I was walking back to my buddy's car ('94 Integra GSR) with him and we saw a huge ass crowd of people around his car. So we're like "wtf??" We got up to the car, and we see that the rear hatch was open, the front left window was smashed, and his stereo was completely gone! GRRR! :mad:

The sad thing is our school is fenced in.. and there are security guards all over it. But they said they didn't see/hear a thing until too late. WTF. My poor buddy... he lost a 12" Kicker Competition, 2 Kicker amps, and accessories. They even tried to steal his Autometer Tach off the dash. This story has a happy ending tho... my friend got better stuff through his insurance.. a much better HU, subs, amps, etc.

Sorry for the rant.. and sorry for your accident. Just know that things will look brighter in the future. And it's ok to feel scared about leaving your car parked.. because having that in the back of your head will prepare you if this ever happens again and not be a total shock.

Yeah, when I had my Protege ES, it was keyed after 3 weeks of ownership.

I was just looking at my passenger door and noticing the door hits on the side molding...I thought '..'ve only had the car for 2 weeks...what slobs people are to smash their doors into my car! But in comparison to your problem I feel foolish. I'm sorry to hear about your car being hit. Hope it's fixed up as good as new...it will be!

i try to park in the back of lots but that never seems to save me from some one pulling up next to me.(muffry's law) anyway sorry about your ride and i hope you get it back prefect.

I do park as far away from others as i can, but it was at band camp and the parking lot for our practice field can only fit about 50 cars and there are at least 80-90 people who park there(trucks on curbs, double parking, along the side of the road), so i dont have much choice.

The car is going to the body shop tommorow hopefully and I've seen the guys work before so it should be perfect or at least damn near it.

Last time I parked way out in the back lot, soo far away from everyone so no one would scratch me: some jackass stole my rear emblem scratching the s*** out of my paint. Now I risk the dings.

i had FRAME DAMAGE after having my car for 4 weeks, just think how i felt...my friends had to littelerly talk me down for like 5min and give me like 20 reasons for not beating the living s*** out of the kid...the first time in my life i actualy started to rage...
