noob to the awd world, tons of questions

all my cars were fwd, so i am really phsyced to have a awd car now! just cant wait for the awd system to be runnning properly so i can take it to the track again and see if i can get some decent times!, god i miss my ******* car, currently driving around a 2004 grand prix gt as a rent a car, things a beast! cough NOT cough! lol pos.

Okay so my car if finally fixed and is running the way a ms6 should run, the differential plate was snapped so there was no power being transfered to the back wheels, causing the ridiculous ammount of wheels spin, the car is awesome off the line and is everything i thought i would be, I am kind of mad however that my highway pulls have been stolen from me, the car is much weaker off a roll now that the awd is working, but i guess you gotta lose one thing in order to gain another.

also, the mazda tech said I should get my springs replaced, i want to get lowering springs because the car is lowered right now and i dont want to go back to stock ride height, what kind of springs do you guys recommend that wont break the bank to much.

H&R or RPM Street springs. Depends on how low you want it to sit. Check out the sticky thread in the suspension section with all the details. Keep in mind that 6/MS6 springs are not the same, and some are cross-sold to both models, but don't improve handling little/if at all on the MS6.

thanks tunersteve, the car is dropped like crazy right now its really low, i should really get some pix up also, but the tech said that the sprins suck, so i need to get them replaced.

i see that the rpm's only do a 1.1 inch drop in front and .75 in the back, i would hate to have the car higher then it is now.
