Noise under the hood at idle.

Yesterday when I parked my car in the garage and the car was in nuetral, I noticed a ticking noise coming from under the hood. I put my foot on the clutch and it went away, and when I depressed it, it came back. Any ideas?

The throw bearing has been known to be rather noisy in the speeds.


Unless its really loud or you feel vibrations in your pedal then I would say that its just the throw out bearing noise.

Yep hes right. Add some mounts to the car and it sounds like someone playing drums in your garage.
