Did you lube the bushings?
as far as i know, yes. i had a shop install them. i have heard that when you install front hotchkis sways on the ms3, you need to also install adjustable end links. can anyone confirm this? are there any additional options that i have?
hotchkis is adjustable correct? If so, they may have installed it on a setting that is making it rub the endlink? I think I would go with adjustable end links from the get go, but their website doesnt say anything about needing them so maybe its something else. i would try and re-lube the bushings and see if that helps
The shop probably tightened down ur sway bar with the weight of the car off of the suspension. By doing this the sway bar ends up being very close to the chassis and sometimes allows the sway bar to actually rub/clunk the chassis. When i did mine we lowered the weight of the car on the suspension and then tightened down the sway bar/end links, the results were a sway bar very far away from the chassis that has never touched.
I speak about it in my BC Coilovers thread, there is a link below if you are interested. Good luck, thats my guess...your sway bar is probably contacting.
how do you lower the weight of the ms3? can i do this myself? the rubbing noise is diff. coming from the front of the ms3. the back is fine.
