No roof racks??!!

Hey I was at my local Mazda dealer (Almaden Mazda) today and noticed that they had about 5 Protege5's with out roofracks, I'm talking like the canadien ones, nothing up there. Is that 2003.5 or what???

yup, and it also has a subwoofer in the spare too....i like it that way.

I'm feelin' the roofrackless P5, it makes it look sportier (probably reduces drag too)

I noticed that when i was at teh dealer too. They have a little tab in the trail. I didn't know what it was for. Any canadians wanna shed some light on that???

I just bought a 2003 P5 and it had roof racks. However, I did notice that if you buy the P5 w/ a sunroof then it doesn't come with the racks. I personally like mine w/ the racks. I know that a lot of people don't.

Regarding the P5 w/ a sunroof that doesn't come with the roof racks, it's just a coincidence or the dealer did that on purpose. But like they said above, it's a stand-alone accessory with the 2003.5 along with the subwoofer, eventhough most salesmen don't even know that themselves.

Most salesmen don't know anything period... I was in there about a month and a half ago trying to trade my car (P5) for a Mazdaspeed, the sales guy asked me how to spell Protege!!!!!
