I searched and cant find exactly what i need. I just wanna know if I i can delete my cat without it running funny or the MIL lighting up because of the
o2 sensors. New to OBD2 so help is appreciated. If not what do i need and where do i get it?

if you take out both cats then you will get a chek engine light. but you can fix that with an o2 simulator/defouler. hope that helps

Go to either AutoZone or Advanced Discount and pick up the HELP #42002 sparkplug anti fouler kit. Disconnect 02 sensor wiring at the back of the intake manifold and down by the steering rack. 1/2" drill bit/drill and a 7/8 combination wrench or 02 remover are the tools you need.

great info..thanks alot..i prefer the anti-fouler...will the ECU still get proper signal? I know it uses the different readings to determine how much fuel to deliver on Hondas, but Hondas dont have the MAF set up like this car so im guessing it relies more on the MAF??

This was a long time ago on a really crappy cat delete. Anyway this is what it looks like.

The one on the left was too thin so I re-drilled another one.

i see how this works...someone correct me if im wrong. I know that the ECU uses the difference between the two readings for its input. The non-fouler blocks some of the emissions passing the second o2 therefore giving it different readings and not illuminating the MIL. I just wanna be sure that this doesnt mess with the A/F readings and the car still runs good. I'm about to delete my cat with a SLS j/midpipe, relocate the MAF, add a Greddy RS BOV and add the HiBoost FMIC. Already have a Greddy catback and SRI.

Don't get the Greddy RS if you can help it. It's a piece of crap, everybody that buys one changes it out quickly. The Greddy type S was a good BOV, then they replaced it with the RS and it breaks or fails on nearly everybody. Just a heads up, you'd be happier and better off going with a different valve.

I too went CEL-less for damn near 20K miles until the pos flex hose section broke on my downpipe. Even so one day you will get a CEL from the exhaust contaminants clogging the censor. A cleaning will solve that.

Running the anti-fouler setup will have no impact on the way the car runs. It simply takes the sensor directly out of the flow path, but it still gives a reading unless you've plugged the hole.

I've had the RS on for almost three years and have never had a problem, other than adjusting it when initially installed.

I've heard mixed things about the RS. What are the BOVs that people seem to be the happiest with? I've ordered everything except the BOV. Also, how good is the BPV that the HiBoost FMIC comes with?

I myself have never had it, I had a Type S, but everybody I know has already gotten rid of thier RS. I recently took my S off and went to Turbo XS and I had three PMs about what was I going to do with the Type S within five minutes of posting that I had removed it, all of them have the RS currently and want to trade me or buy my S. Honestly you're th efirst person I have seen post anything positive about it. The quality of the S did not carry over to the RS, not just an opinion on our forums either.

yeah i also had a type rs on mine, i never had a problem with it though, i just diddnt like the sound so i traded for a type s, couldnt be happier, its the sex lol

well i bought the plug non-fouler kit so when I leave Miami for Orlando Im gonna pick up the pipe from dude. All my other parts should be there when I get home from vacation!!!!! :)
