no antenna but still works

i jess got my antenna from xelderx

i noticed that the radio reception is perfectly clear even when the antenna is completely removed

Well that would more than likely depend where you are at. I suppose if you go to the outskirts of the areas, or underpasses, stuff like that, it may diminish. I have the S2000 stub antenna, and it goes in and out on occasion. But not bad at all.

I can save the whip antenna for getting my roommate motivated to clean... LOL

I really believe that my reception improved with my xelderx antenna. I live 50 miles from the nearest radio station, and it works great!(drinks)

Well, mine works great downtown... I have been there a few times over the past two weeks... Not an issue.
