Nicest Mazda wheels on P5

I like my 17" M6 wheels :D

Did you use spacers? Or just get narower tires?

I tried to fit my friends 17" 6 stockers on my P5 and they rubbed the rear strut.

They were also REALLY heavy, not so sure I'd want them on there after all...

MP3 wheels for sure :)

The offset is 60 so to get it right, you would want to use a 5mm spacer to get it to 55, like the MSP wheels or 10mm to get it to 50. Then you can fit the full-size tire 215/40.

Some people are uncomfortable about using any kind of sapcer even a 5mm becuase it gives you less thread to use on the lugs and it pushes the wheel weight out more that is supposed to be. Others don't have any problem at all. But if you don't use spacers you'll probably have to run a smaller 205/40 tire.

Oh ya, the M6 wheels are kinda heavy 23.5 lbs. But if you're not racing it won't make that big of a difference.

60 offset? holy crap that's freakin wild. that is really heavy too. I can see why you went with the enkeis.

The Mz6 sport wheels and your enkeis are my favorite wheels on the P5

Dang it, I thought MSP wheels were +50. They would look better as a +45. (first)

That is extremely heavy for a 17x7 wheel.

my rear wheels rubbed on my struts but then i got an alignment. its all good now. no spacers!

Moonman8 they are 215/45/17 but im going to go with some 40's for my next set as I prefer the lower sidewall look (no rubbing with 45). It's lowered using Tein S-Tech which drops it 1.8 if im not mistaken.

I find that the 03.5 MSP front lip sets off the look of the car

Thanks! I currently have 215/45/17's on my MP3 wheels but I was worried about them rubbing on the strut after I put my Espelir springs on (~1.4" all the way around). If I keep the wheels, I will also be going with 40 series for the next set (maybe even a 205/45/17 which is the stock size for the MP3's but I'm not sure yet).

Do your rear wheels sit almost uncomfortably close to the struts? When I first installed the wheels I was a little afraid when I found that I couldn't even get a finger between the rim protector lip on my Falkens (Ziex ZE512's) and the strut.

^^ Yep, its fairly close but as long as it doesn't touch I'm happy

I'm running some Bridgestone Potenza RE040's
