Nice dual 12" sub with box deal at Crutchfield

The thing that kills me about RF is that they wont make a 2 ohm pre-loaded box.
This makes no sense to me now that at least 70% of people with subs are running mono class D amps that want a 2 ohm load.

How do you like it?

Its pretty nice. They respond nicely to the bass notes. However, I am having trouble with my system at the moment so I can't go much further.

That's not quite true -

I saw this at BB today its TINY. The Sony Slim Box is even smaller....

I'm sure you know this, the RF is selling for around $130 which I find to be a decent bargain. It has 2ohm DVC driver, which RF say its 4ohm. That likely means its wired in series. But it could be re-wired for 1ohm load and since peak power handling is 800W, there are a couple of medium sized D class mono amps that could give this some serious kick.

I believe your mistaken on what we are talking about. We are talking about the dual 12" RF P2s. Your link is to a shallow mounted RF. Not the same apples. Btw even though Sony has a smaller box doesn't make it better. I had 2 Sonys in a bandpass and the RFs in a ported box hits much harder.

P.S. That shallow mounted speaker costs way too much! $400! Wow.
