Thanks (breakn)

(ps: ive already searched)

Well even if they do you should check them with a wire spark plug gapper tool:

Manual says .028-.031" is in spec.

They come pre-gapped. You can check to make sure they are o.k. I used a 28 thousandths wire and a 32 thousandths wire for go-no go checking. All were fine.

They are not meant to be re-gapped and can be very easily ruined by trying. If the gap ain't right (not likely), get some that are.

I got mine (NGK Iridium IX) from the local O'Rileys Auto Parts Store! Cheaper too than any of the internet vendors I had checked.

My NGK's were not gapped for the turbo engine, which is .028 to .031 and had to be regapped with the appropriate tool. As Sport6 suggested, get a tool and check them.

You are right. I did not recall having to regap them, although I did recall using the .028 and .032 wires for no and no go gauges.

The things come pre-gapped at .044 which is way too big for our application

The tip is very delicate, so be careful, but yes, bring them down to the proper spec. Thanks for catching my bad, and my bad memory!
