NGK Extended Reach Spark Plugs

Ok, now I guess I will stay with the extended. Anyway, about me having the stumble...I am gapped at .028-.029, I am running 10 psi; seems like a good gap to me.

Is everyone still running the extended reach plugs? I am going to put them in my MSP/MP3, any issues lately?

I'm still debating... MPI recommended against them in a turbo car. I loved them in the car and it ran far better with them in. But I'm likely not going to run them with my new engine.

extras are never bad... I always order two extras... I've cracked a few in my time... and you'll always drop one the one time you REALLY need to get them in the car.

ok guys, I got all confused, please help out...

sorry I didn't go through the million post but I need to know exactly what plugs I should get.

I have a MSP and I've search on the www.clubplug.net and it shows me I need to use Iridium IX ZFR6FIX-11 (18-4750-0). which I'd really brought from the local parts store (they told me that is the right one)

now when I search the posts, everyone is saying they will replace it with ZFR7F-11. I know it is a step colder then the ones I got, but which one should I go with? the local shop say there is no such thing as ZFR7F-11 so they won't be able to order it for me.

If the ZFR7F-11 is the one I should get, where can I buy them for best price? what is the part number? and would the damn cold weather in Canada affect the performance of the car if I use the 7 series plugs? and what gap should I be using?

thanks guys.

WHAT! I just got my NGK zfr7f-11;s there two weeks ago @ $2.44 a piece.
Sorry they could not help you out???

they are there, just not under the MSP listing. You actually have to look up the part number in the box on the front page. They are indeed there, and at 2.44 a pop.

Whatever part store you went to has some pretty ignorant people. There is a four number part # XXXX for the ZFR7F-11 plugs. I believe it is like 2975 or something, but don't quote me. They should know that. Anyway, the ZFR7F are the best for the price, but I would definately go with the Denso IK22 if you can afford it.
