(lol) (headshake Just wait and see.
If they played with any consistancy it would be scary. One week Daunte plays like an MVP and the next week he plays like a third stringer(mostly like a third stringer). Not only that, but did you hear, the Packers are going to get Randy Moss-That way they would have Couch, Davenport and a Lazy-boy! Oh yea, tell Ontario Smith to light one up for me!(naughty) The only thing the Vikes have going for them is Bennet, former Wisconsin Badger.I almost cried when they took him in the draft. Only the season will tell.

Your telling me Culpepper is a 3rd stringger??? Wrong! Not when he had the #3 passer ratting in the league and led the #1 Offence in the league! I'll agree he has his moments but he's is still one of the best in the league. All the vikes had to do is improve the D and thats what they did... so prepare lamblows and the packqueers when the viKINGS come to hand out a royal ass woopin!
(flame2)

but as you said only the season will tell but I have HIGH hopes! GOD I LOVE FOOTBALL! :)

parcells is god...secondly johnson and vinny played great together before so theyll do fine. They also played awesome under parcells before.Johnson wont be a dick this year he has to much to prove.PLus we have ward and bryant. Not top of the line recievers but theyll get the job done.ALso who the hell needs eddie george.Hes only there for a year till julious jones gets settled.Hes already put up better stats then eddie in preseason. HEs a much more explosive back and thats what we need..About the qb issue. I think drew henson is gonna step up and be able to take the weight of the team soon. Hes been doing good in preseaon. And who the hell knows about romo.Cowboys are gonna kick ass...they went 10-6 last year and they didnt have s***. Their gonna make it to the payoffs this year mark my words. also Our defense was one of the best last year and as long as woodson gets better soon we will be fine.

QB Carter lands with Jets

Hempstead, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Jets solved their backup quarterback problems by signing Quincy Carter, who was recently released by the Dallas Cowboys. Terms of the deal were not announced.

Carter will be introduced at a noon press conference on Tuesday.

Other than starter Chad Pennington, the Jets did not have a quarterback on the roster that had attempted a pass in the NFL.

But Carter, a four-year pro from Georgia, started all 16 games for the Cowboys last season, leading the club to a 10-6 record and a berth in the playoffs. He completed 57.8 percent of his passes for 3,302 yards with 17 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.

In three seasons with Dallas, Carter connected on 56.2 percent of his throws for 5,839 yards, 29 touchdowns and 36 interceptions.

The Cowboys did not give an official explanation for Carter's release, but there has been speculation that he failed a drug test. The NFL Players Association has filed a grievance, claiming the organization was in violation of the league's collective bargaining agreement.

The Cowboys had a great year but this year making the playoffs will be much harder.....Philly and the Redskins! I would love to see the Eagles go down and not make the playoffs

Im not an eagles fan but with westbrook better and the signing of owens its gonna take a lot of choking for them not to make the playoffs..ANd they got rid of all those scrub wr's they had.

hmm, the bears traded marty booker and a 3rd rd. draft pick to the dolphins for adewale ogunleye. as a bears fan, im am iffy on this deal. yeah we got a very pass rusher, but we gave up our top reciever which isnt good when you have a very young quarterback entering his first full season as the teams starting QB. it will be interesting to see how ogunleye will play without jason taylor. if he can still produce 15 sacks, then the deal was well worth it.
