Gonna be doing either this weekend or next weekend a Raptor HID kit for my car. 5000k from ddmtuning this should help out a whole lot since I drive at night a lot.

Hmmm, can you take pics of the process to share with the group. I've been contemplating HID's but was't sure if I wanted to tackle it.

It's very simple actually.
I learned how to do it by just connecting everything and making sure the bulbs worked.

Yeah. Lol. I was pretty scared to do it because I thought I would screw something up. Badly.
But the install was very straight forward. It's pretty much plug and play.

Finding a place to put the ballasts is the fun part. I bought the apexcone version on the same site (same warranty but closer to size of a desktop hard drive vs a deck of cards). I put the HID's on the fogs too...and I did it all without removing the bumper ;-)...though honestly if you want to do it right take off the bumper and your hands wont get all skinned up (if youre doing fogs).

Lots of super long heavy duty zip ties, wire cutters for the zip ties, a flashlight, screwdrivers and ratchets...all you need.
