News about GReddy Cat-back Exhaust System

This message is for those of you waiting for GReddy to come out with an exhaust system for our cars. I called GReddy today in California and ask them about the Mazdaspeed Protege Evolution cat-back system. They told me they just finished the prototyping process for this exhaust, now it has to be manufactured in Japan and ship to the US. The guy told me it will be about 1-2 months before we can get it. I asked him about the diameter for the piping but he said he did not know. I asked him about a part number so it will be easier to order from a dealer, but again it didn't know this either. Oh well, I guess we just have to wait and wait.

I wouldnt mind having a GReddy 3" cat back system, add in a 3" down pipe, high flow cat, the car would be able to breathe just a bit better.

Did you buy chance get an estimate on the price of the system?

No, I didn't get a price, I guess I should have. The one for the P5 is around $550.00 and he told me is on back order now.

I know what you mean, I really don't like too much the stock exhaust sound, I don't want a very load sound because I know it will get old after a while. I have read a lot about the Evolution Exhausts and the people that have it really like it. But man! mod are expensive, one of the reason why I bought my Mazda was because it came with lots of mods already, but now that I have it I want more, somebody please stop me!!! lol

The Greddy Exhaust System should be out in Late August or Early September. It looks really nice. It's going to be a SP 2 and Evolution Exhaust.

I don't think it has come out. they don't have it listed on their website.

GReddy's Website is not up to date. it is months behind. The FMIC kit and exhaust will be in stock soon. EVO should arrive before the front mount. I am getting anxious...I just may do a custom 2.75 turboback with the HKS C-Ti muffler. If you have ever heard a CTi, you will love it.

That's what I am getting, but it's going to be a solid 3" with one high-flow cat.

i emailed them about a month ago, they said december sometime? someone else got more info than me, i think the piping is only 2.36? wierd

3 inch piping is too big for our setup. You don't what to loose backend
