2002 Mazda P5
Hey Guys,

Just purchased a 2002 P5 with 61K on it. My good friend from high school/ college days purchased one new in '02 and I loved it. Just so happens the other day I was looking for daily driver for my wife and low and behold a blue P5 sitting on the dealers lot! Long story short I'm driving the P5 and my wife now has the '07 Mitsu Outlander. The P5 has some moderate hail damage and broken fog light so I haggled pretty hard on it. Probably just going to replace the OEM fogs with PIAA's and I have a friend that does PDR.

Welcome to the forum!

PIAA 540s will fit but they're a little small. 520s are about 1/4" too big but maybe you can work some magic with them.

Well, to be technical, 40s are driving lights, 520s are available as fog lights. But they share the same dimensions so whatever.

I tried KC Slimlites, which are 6-1/8" diameter, and they wouldn't fit into the bumper cover. PIAA 520s are 6-1/4" diameter, so I don't know how they're going to fit if the KCs don't. The WingsWest bumper cover can accomodate the PIAAs, however.

Another option is to get the foglight delete kit from onlinemazdaparts.com ($40!), which replaces the (useless) stock fogs with the same kind of plastic mesh you have in your grille.

lol i really need to do the same thing (get the new foglights). the only thing that my stock foglights do is look yellow next to the HID's. which is kinda nice to see the yellow/blue tint contrast. But driving with them = useless.
