I bought my car used 8 months ago with 11,000 miles. I drive 100 miles every day to work so I put on a lot of miles. Just passed the 30,000 mark.
I took it to the dealer for 30.000 maintenance and they did more than what the manual says. They replaced the transmission fluid with a synthetic. I read later that the original fluid was supposed to last over 100,000 miles and maybe the synthetic is not as good. Does this mean once I started I'll have to replace every 30,000 miles? Did the dealer do me wrong?
Also, I replaced the original Bridgestone tires (which wore very poor) with Pirelli PZone. Anyone know if the Pirelli's are better tires. From the naked eye they look about the same.
By far this is the best car I've ever owned...just gotta watch the speed. If I don't pay attention to the speedometer the next thing I know I'm doing 90 or 100 MPH and it feels like 60.
I got busted in NYS doing 82 and since then I learned to use cruise control and went out and bought a Passport radar dector. If you own this car you most definately want to invest in a good radar detector.
I look forward to meeting any other Speed 6 owners in my area. So far I've seen 3 on the road.
