New York... blacked out lights

You Can Get Them Tinted Like Your Windows. But I Dont Koe That Is What I Heard. Any One Else Know How?

sounds like if anyone knows how to do them (the actual removal and seperation of the headlights) they could make a few bucks here in NY

I dont want to go the timt route, maybe the 3m stomeguard yellow for the fogs, but I want my lights to be official...

come'on someone please step up to the plate????

Are you interested in projector headlights??? we are trying to get more people to join the cause they will be made in either black or chrome and will look sick with a halo or projector style set-up. You don't have to worry about ******* up your stock headlights either.

For the fogs go with blue batmobiles foglight overlays only $10 shipped!! awsome price and awsome product.

man, if i could come to NY, i would do all your headlights.

actually, its very simple. just follow the how to that ghost made and you will be fine. dont even worry about melting them or anything because you have to be a complete moron (which i am, but still didnt melt them) to do that. if you do it yourself, it will cost you about $10 (400 grit sandpaper, primer, black paint), unless you have some of the stuff already. the only thing is you have to press them back together very hard and make sure they are completely sealed when you are done. my lights fog up when it gets very humid out. i did my bro-in-laws lights and his are perfect. they dont fog and they look awesome. i learned from my mistake, now i have to re-seal mine.

i saw the overlays by batmobiles, those are the ones i will be getting,
where are the pics of teh projector lights?
i really just want my lights painted black....

or buy someones off of them if they get alternate lights////

Well they technically don't exist yet but we have a GI thread on them and we hope a company will step up to the plate soon and make them. We already have a lot of people interested click on this thread and check out the different samples of how they might look-www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64329&page=1&pp=15

i read ghosts entire thread on doing it your self....
funny thing is I am a computer tech, I have my own consulting business and will not hesitate to rip into a server or pc, to dismantle, upgrade or just mod, but when it comes to my car, i just get a lil nervous, I guess I think what will happen if i screw it up for good, or maybe not seal the light correctly and get water damage, then electrical problems, then electrocuted and >>>DEATH
...maybe i should give it a shot... or maybe it would be cool to go to the junkyard and practice seprating, painting and resealing another light???

probally just a waste of time....

Ghost give me words of encouragement man....

I AM MUMMMRAAAAAAAAAAA

i tried to encourage you already. i was thinking about painting mine for months and months, terrified that i might **** something up. i kept reading the how to and telling myself it was easy. one morning, i just woke up and did it. it was one of the easiest and best mods ive done to my car. i dont know s*** about cars, but i managed to do it. in fact it was so easy, i did my bro-in-laws lights 2 days later. i know anyone could do it.

haha just do it.. me and some other guy were supposed to do em together, but something came up for him.

i got all souped up for the day, so i ended up tackling the project myself.

only scary part is separating the lights, but pretty easy if you do it slowly.. just have a friend help you out with that.

when you re-seal: press them firmly together, bake, then press as hard as you can again.

i've had no leaks or fogging

Good Luck

haha, same here...I put it off for weeks, stressing aobut F'ing sumthin up, then one day I was like **** it...went out got the s***, sis the job, came out beautiful :D

i need to reheat mine and press them together a little harder becasue i don get some foging, but its no big deal. i'll just have to fix it.

I got some fogging yesterday, but I dont think it was a bad seal...I forgot to put one of the rubber vent tubes on the headlights(the longest, lower one) and i think some water got in that way...

If you can go with out for a few days, I'm doing another guys also. $50 shipped back to you. I can turn them around the same day I recieve them. Im in IN so you'll only be with out for about 4-5 days tops. If you have other transportation, this might be an option for you. PM if your interested
