New Wheels?

What do you guys and gals think of these on the speed lowered about 1.5inches? Its gonna be one of these two just need a little help with the final decison. Thanks.

I dont like the screws around the rim...I used to own a set of black rims with a chrome lip and those screws...i liked it back them, but somehow not now...I do like the style of the silver one...not liking the style of the black ones.

Sidenote: I got talked out of a Black wheel w/chrome lip by Motegi DP6, that I wish I had gone with.

Obviously he doesn't think so...So that is a pointless question...I think the silver would be a safe choice and the black would be interesting but I'm not sure about that specific rim style.

I kinda dig the silver, but I personally lend myself to simplicity...the more the spokes...the more to clean..plus all those little allen heads, that's alot of work every time you wash your car, I speak from past experience.
Never liked multiple bolt patterns in the center either, I like a purpose built fit, less is more.(yes)

I think the black is a good choice if your car is black (which i believe it is). It would be nice if you could find a rim with a bigger lip. But the MS6 doesn't allow for many of those rims to fit.

Anyone put 5Zigen sportsengines on their speed 6? 48 mm offset should clear but I want to be sure before I order.

The 48 offset will fit fine and that is the size I am ordering. 18x7.5 48mm

How sure are you? How about with drop will still fit?
The reason why I ask because I can't find the right offset for our MSP 6.
Black would look nice on blk cars.

Go black!!! The MS6 brake pads has tons of dust and the silver rims will just turn black... so might as well go with the black.

It is hard to find an offset above 48mm, but several are running a 48 offset with the stock wheel and no rubbing. I am planning on going with 225 tire with the 48 offset. I think some are running a 48 offset lowered with the stock tire size. Some say they had to roll the lip and others said that they did not need to roll the lips, just depends on the drop. Try searching this forum and the other main mazda forum on the amount of drop others are running and rim/tire choice.
