you need to drop dat fool

I can't. Wouldn't be able to turn, the front would rub, or just get stuck. I could possible lower the back a little. That's ok though, I am now just waiting on all my engine mods to arrive from Flyin Miata.

TB Inlet Pipe
Intake
Downpipe/Cat Converter
Midpipe and exhaust upgrade
GFB BoV

Once those all get here, I will get them put on. Then its new rotors and brakes. Then I will be done modding until I can replenish my miata mod account with more $$$$.

man those are huge... I just ordered a set of 15's to replace my stock 16's so I say to each their own I guess.

It's a nice looking wheel regardless of the size though.

well I do have the stock 17 inch Racing Hart's for sale, they are perfect condition, no curb rash or anything on the rims. The wheels/tires have roughly 16K miles on them, seeing as how the miata is my daily driver. I just rolled her over 20K miles this weekend.

I replaced my stock 17's with 15 inch gramlights. I thought the 17's looked huge on a miata, also tires are cheaper. But, hey, it's your car so as long as you enjoy it who cares.

I think a small drop is in order but thats IMO. I like the 18s on the miatas. 17s with a low stance would have been my preference, but those still look good

Drop in the back only? I honestly don't think I can get any more lower in the front, there is less than 1inch clearance in the front now, I think that lowering anymore in the front would be bad in that the tire would rub, especially when turning.

definitely dont drop the back only. something like 1/2" in the front and 3/4" in the rear. Probalby need a good set of coilovers to get it perfect, but those would help the overall handling of the car

Thanks, definately something worth looking into.

hot wheels. man those are big, but gotta give ya props for putting them on there. in the front it probably rubs the fender liner if anything that can be trimmed i believe

It doesn't currently rub at all, but I fear any more lower in the front and it will for sure.

I guess the 18's are pretty hott. If i were you, i would look into rolling your fenders. I know the car is somewhat new and body work would make anyone with a new car cringe, but that b**** would be right if it was on the ground!

when i put the 20s on my RX8, i had to roll the rear fenders, its a scary feeling on a new car. Worrying about paint chips or denting the fender or pushing the lip out. but if you do it carefully and take your time, its not a big deal. my car gos to get the new paint job in about a month, so im gonna really roll them all the way then so i can lower the car on 20's
