new wheels and tires

what do you all think of these 17x8 wheels and tire package. I photoshoped it on a car similar to mine to see how it looks (did it fast , so it doesnt look that good)

I can probably get the same with less , I think the stock is 17x6, I assume 6 is inches in width, I do want just a bit wider wheels, mabe 17x7?

The stock rims are 17x6.5, I went with 17x7 with (I believe) a +42 offset which left me with no overhang on the fronts.

The offset is exactly 5x114.3 and i was thinking of the same set up 18x8 but still not sure if they would fit though...and those rims are usually found on BMW's ..but might look ok (cool)

That's not the offset, that's the bolt circle.

Offset is how much farther the wheel sticks out from the hub assembly,
BOLT PATTERN is Lug number and the distance between lugs. For example the 3 is 5bolt with 114mm spread so it's 5-114
I Think an 8" wide wheel might work, if nothing else go ask your local tire installer to do a test fit on a 18X8 wheel on the left front. Turn the wheel all the way left & right and you'll find out if you have fitment issues. Most of the time the wheel will "barely" rub up against the wheel well in the front and rear if it's too big.

yea I was thinking of 17x8, but when I order it , they will be able to tell me if it will fit or not, I will be ordering them today probably. Was just wondering if it would nice or rice

If they fit, go for it...I've never seen a set of "rice" wheels, order with confidence.

well i call wheelmax they said it wont fit i need 17 x 7.5 and thts a biach, it will be very hard to find, anyone knows any other sites for wheel and tire packages.

Dude, did they even try putting them on, or did they jsut say uhhh no it won't fit...
I'd say just go down and get your local shop to test fit

no, I dont have the wheels and I dont wanna order em and then test and have to pay for the shipping and stuff to send em back. The wheelmax guy told me the only wheels that will fit is 17x7.5, weird as hell, there are a lot of 17x7 on the site that I like... still confused

17X7 definitely fit, I have them on right now.

I stuck with the 50s. Had I gone 18x7 I would have opted for lower profile tires.

Personally, I like the second one, there's just something about "cross spoke" wheels that I don't like I can't put my finger on.

I'm not overly fond of either of them but I'd take the first one cuz I'm just damn sick of seeing 5-spokes everywhere!

definitely, I ordered them today , they said it be here in like 3-4 days, so when I get em on I will take pix.
