New turbo kit

We will be offering a FULL turbo kit in the next couple of weeks. We have realized that 90% of people out there want a whole kit, so we will be making the whole package.

The starter kit that we currently offer includes the tubular manifold, turbo and stainless steel braided oil lines with anodized fittings.

We will still have these available to the race application enthusiast that want a gorgeous tubular manifold but will also offer another kit that is ready run out of the box.

Prices will be very competitive. We are still working out the kinks but will be well under 3000 dollars.

The kit will include a race style 2.5 inch downpipe, FMU, airfilter, Mitsubishi 16g turbo, Tubular manifold, stainless braided oil lines with anodized fittings, cold air intake, boost gauge and charge piping with all other necassary parts.

The kit will NOT be carb certified or emmissions legal and will not have an intercooler for now.

We will offer an intercooler upgrade in the future though. In similar fashion to the Greddy and HKS turbo kits that are availble for hondas.

If demand shows for upgraded managment systems and additional injectors (intake manifold) this will also be seriously considered.

We just started on our new kit today and will have it available in a few weeks. It will run 5 psi and roughly increase output by approx 50 crank hp.

this is most excellent news. would it be possible to upgrade my bulk buy to including a full kit? if not let me know more details. you can email me at lowerdfool@aol.com. So far I don't think anyone has bought a starter kit even though there were 8 interested. :confused: let me know what's up when you get a chance.

ps will it have a BOV or a plate where a blow off valve can be bolted up?

great news! good to hear your completing the kit. I love that 16g turbine, I was considering your starter kit over everyone elses just for that.

I emailed you last month if a full kit was going to be produced and you told me no only a starter kit would be available. I'm glad you decided to make a full turbo kit.
 
hey spoolin, just want to say i have been doing alot of research in this forum and you have the most knowledge of all the F/I's, i wish i still lived in Miami so i could check out your ride. but i was excited your coming out with a total kit because the others where good but i like your manifold and tuning expertice, looking forward to it i think you should offer a set kit and upgrade options for more performance :cool:

what about without charge piping? that should be the only thing that would change it between the cars, wouldn't it?
 
what about if i was to find out what would work with pvc piping and send it to you to remake the piping for a probe. all i'd need would be the dimensions from the turbo to the block. both on the down pipe, inlet, and outlet of the compressor. the inlet would probably be the easiest and i'd imagine our downpipes are almost identical other than possible frame work differences.
 
As soon as i get my tranny grinding takin care of i will be seriously interested in your kit! id much rather give my money to a fellow MP3'er then to some big company. 50hp sound plenty adaquit for me. especially with upgrade in the future as i get the $$$ so i dont have to put out all the money at once. although i definitly want a large front intercooler eventually. This is Great News. Keep up the good work. especially cause i fell you have the most knowledge on turbo pro's i would feel extreamly confinent in your kit!
 
This sounds like an interesting development...I've always had it in my mind to go with your kit Spoolin...now that you'll have a full kit, it makes it an even easier decision.

The kit is fully developed and available. We have been driving it hard around for the past couple of days(Thats why I have not been on the forum for a while). So far everything is excellent no issues at all. The manifold is also redesigned and truer to an equal length design with better flow properties. 5psi feels very nice and responsive. I will keep everyone updated.

Only problem is that whel hop is evident at even 5psi. That is a good thing;)

I seem to recall that you were planning on getting some motor mounts...is this still in the works for you? I'll definitely be wanting an update is so to let us all know how they turn out and how much they help.

I'd be interested in a kit with bigger injectors (not MORE, but BIGGER) and some kind of way to manage them...

Sorry, I get so many pm's and emails it is starting to get very difficult to keep up. Email is a better way to reach me.
And yes the t3 is not a problem its the same price:D
