the 240 is NOT chris' car. It is my roomates. It is kinda funny they both have flat black 240sx's

The 240 my roomate is selling is a 91 5-speed with 158K miles. He is looking for 2K.

The body looks awesome apart from a few rust spots (hid by the paint). All in all it is a great car waiting for an sr20

What do these belts do that harnesses that are readily available and cheaper (it seams) do?

That JDM flavor or something? Got extra cash? Like green?

I'm probably ignorant but i just wanna know I would wanna buy these instead of sparco's or simpson's, etc.,,,,,

just for looks and pimp factor mostly.

i know they are unnecessary but i felt like spending the money. I like the fact that they are lightweight and are 3 inch wide instead of the sparco 2 inch.

Plus i think they look cool heh.

I thought it was dangerous to put harnesses in the car with out a roll cage to hook them up to? Am I wrong here or do you have a cage that your going to hook them up to?

it doesnt say one is needed in the takata manual. plus takata is FIA approoved and DOT legal.

the belts are approved but not the way you will be installing them without a rollbar behind the seats. It has to do with the way the seat will put pressure on your spine when it applies force due to an accident. The correct way would be to the bar behind the seat, not the back seats or the foor of the car behind the front seats. But it should work fine without a rollbar.

yes i know that you should NOT put them on the floor behind the seats. 1st best place is on a roll bar, but 2nd is at the back seats. i mean s***, they have a pic of the belts going to the back seats in the manual even!

hmmm 2k for a 240 150k miles isnt all that bad hard to find with low miles. s*** i wish i had some more money i could go for another 240.... how long has he been trying to sell it?

Yeah but those belts are quality. Someone told me sparcos have a life span of 5 years and Takata is 7...something like that. Dont know if he was BSing me or not. But those are sexy belts

SR20? blah...I would go for a CA! Look at the RB engines and look at the CAs...see a resemblence? joke...SR20 is a good engine. Its jsut that CAs are so cheap and good for what I like.
