2015 CX-9
Hi All, in the middle of negotiations on a touring AWD meteor Gray 2015. Just registering for the forum tonight but i've been lurking/researching for a month or so.
Pricing looks to land about $29,000 even (plus destination, etc).

To me this seems like about the best i am going to do. Wondered what the opinions here are on others' experience. Thanks!

That's a good deal, prior years $29K was the bare bones Sport model, so if you can get an AWD Touring for that, you're getting a deal, Are you getting the Tech package or Rear Entertainment ? ask for freebies, see post #6 in linkhttp://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123848646-Is-CX-9-2015-reliable&highlight=freebies
also, make sure you get TWO advance keys, you need at least two to program a spare third one yourself. Read up on the AWD transfer case, make sure you understand you have to do maintenance on it, I didn't know and my transfer case oil turned to sludge, I'm hoping my flushing and re-filling this past weekend will save it.

Great tips thank you. No tech package on it but I thought it seemed like a good price. We will see how I do this week with them. Thanks again

Our 2013 GT (fwd) was about $29 with all the discounts, rebates and loyalty we saved. There were no AWD models anywhere near us - we never get them around this area.

Looks like the deal is going through, should go sign final papers tomorrow and pick up. I was under the impression the newer models had updated/better xsfer cases, guess that's not the case? I don't mind changing the oil if needed, just thought they fixed it by 2015 model year. Do these come with synthetic oil from the factory? the truck has about 50 miles on it right now. i've always used 5w20 regular oil in my Honda Ridgeline every 4000-4500 miles, and i've got almost 145k on it. i planned on doing the same with the CX-9, unless told it's a sin.

I know oil discussions/questions are dangerous..

I paid $31k back in March for a touring AWD w/ the tech package, so $29k sounds like a pretty good deal without. Congrats and welcome. As for oil - I'm not sure synthetic is necessary. That said, I did my first change at 3,500 and put in Mobil1 5W-20. Next change at 10,000, and then I'll probably do it every 5,000 thereafter, keeping with M1.

Got the truck, everything is great so far, put 200 miles on it this weekend. Meteor Gray, AWD, all weather mats and cargo liner. Already bought a Curt hitch and cargo carrier, just need to get a wiring harness for it and wire it up. Only gripe so far that i'm sure i'll get used to if it's normal, when hitting bumps, it sounds like a clunk somewhere, doesn't sound "loose" but still a clunk noise, checked spare and it's nice and tight.
