new to the mazda scene

whats up guys?? I am new to the mazda world and have a quick question.

can someone get me the size of the fuel door opening?? I just bought my girlfriend a fuel door off ebay(bad choice I know) and it doesnt fit. i did some searching on here and found another guy had the same problem but it turned out his was for the five door. she has a sedan and I measured the door and it came up to 5.75" high x 7.25" wide. is this the right one or what?? I need some help.

Sorry to hear about that. I'll give you a heads up that the sedan and hatch only share 1 body panel and i can't remember which one it is. Basically if you buy anything for the car, ask if it is for a hatch or sedan and also ask if its for a 2.0L or 2.3L.
Unfortunately I do not know the size of my fuel door (I'm a hatch) but I'll try to remember to measure it tomorrow.
