Just recently purchased a Mazda 3i . Started reading the forums to see what all i can do to my new car to make it look / run better.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ... Here are a few pics

Oh, and i was curious .. Everything i see forsale for the Mazda3's is for the 2.3l Engine.... Will a CAI for a 2.3 work on a 2.0?

Great choice of car! I have a 2005 3i Titamium Gray, (the base base base model. Yup, no A/C.) The first thing you should do it buy some TSW Volcano rims for it!

Some easy mods: Cold Air Intake, and removal of all that plastic I see on top of your engine bay

Nah I'm a big fan of the engine, so I hate that Mazda tried to package it up in a neat little plastic box. The other reason is it makes it easier to remove and add parts later...

Hey all, I'm new here too. I was browsing the boards looking for info on the 3 when I ran across this site. Actually reading info on this site helped me make up my mind. I have a 06 3sGT HB (in black, the only color no one else has ) and love it. I haven't had this much fun since my first bike. I'm amazed at the amount of aftermarket support and even Mazda offers some cool stuff.
