I've been reading as a guest and now I'm "legit" and a member. I have an 06 Mazda 3 s Touring that I sort of fell into. I was looking at a (ahem) similar hatchback, but was talked into driving above car, and now it is mine all mine. I have some real issues, like it's color but I am considering learning to like it. It is Titanium Gray with the black interior and that would be just about the last choice I'd own if I had more than one to pick from.
I live on the coast in Oregon, in a retirement community and it is scarey to drive with the locals even though I am one now. These folks cannot see and I have a horror of being hit this winter when it is gloomy and dark and raining.
My car came from out of state and has very dark tinted windows, but the local law guys have looked me over and so I must be ok. I plan on driving this car for a while, but have been drooling over "badge removal" and wheels and tires, etc. I used to run time trials back in Ohio, and some gymkhana and road rallies, drove fast when I lived in Arizona, and now here I am in "creak and groan" country with the oldsters in their Buicks.

I've seen them on the page with tires and wheels, I'll have to go back and look again. But basically a slight dress up but not too radical. I have tires that I've never heard of also, but I haven't had a small car in eons, so I am unfamiliar with what fits our 3's. If these tires prove to be icky as soon as our rain starts I may have to do tires and that would be the moment to do wheels also.
I have the car back to "normal" and will take my time making any changes. Also, will probably have to go someplace like Portland for wheels and tires as there sure aren't any here! No wiper blades either....LOL, living in rural, retirement, coastal OR sure is different.......my UPS guy is my best friend.
