Well everyone i have to get some new tires for my car. One of mine has 3 bubbles in it and it would be worth it just to get a new set completely. I have 17x8 Et 43 and was wondering if anyone has run 245-40 on that size wheel and if they have rubbed or any problems with it. I am not lowered atm. Thanks in advanced

These are the 2 tires im looking at
Hankook

From what I have read.....Hankooks. I'm looking at buying tires myself and these would be at the top of my list, if they made them in 16". :(

Hankooks are very good tires. But check out the Yokohama's also. Yokohama is what I ran beofre saleing my 3. I really liked there products

Know it's not one of your options, but I have Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires, and they are excellent. Got em form discount tire direct.

I have 205/50/17 S-Drives on 17x7.5 Enkie rims on my 3. They are good tires, significantly better than General UHP's I've had on previous cars.

Are your fenders rolled really well and the tabs where the rear fenders meet the bumper grinded down? What suspension are you running and what are your alignment specs? You can pull off 245/40/17 with all these things dialed in well, but just barely. If you aren't prepared to do some work to deal with rubbing, stick with 225/45/17 on those wheels.
