IMHO, changing the steering wheel is one of the dumbest mods to do to a car. Sacrificing the safety of an airbag for a cool looking wheel should only be done on trailer-queen show cars and race cars.

To the OP have you tried MOMOs website?? They do make aftermarket wheels and hub adaptors. Look for one for a Mazda6 as it will be the same adaptor. Also the RX-8 adaptor may fit as its the same mount style...

Chulyer I am belted in every time I get in my car. I dont drive like a asshat and drive defensively cause of other asshats on the road... My issue is not with him putting a aftermarket steering wheel in the car, honestly I dont agree with it either, but with the heavy handed preaching that goes on when a question is posted.
You or me preaching to someone about a mod they want to do is not going to get them to change their mind if theyre set on doing said mod. So instead of preaching lets give them the best info we can and move on....

Thanks for answering my question, as for the rest of you an opinion is like an asshole get where I'm going. Try thinking be for you post things, but if you must know the wheel is for show purpose only. Thanks for your sincere concern.
