New Sport Compact

Id have to say that it looks ok. But thats not worth much in this day in age where so many cars look great. The sad part is that my stock MP5 looks more aggressive than the upgraded Redline Ion.

I personally thin our car is one of the BEST looking cars out there.... for the price you pay for a P5, you are geeting a car that looks like it is in a higher price class, not to mention drives and handles liek a machine as well.

As for the saturn... dont like it much..... but that does sound like a nice engine.. i would like to have a higher powered NA car....

what the ... ?
i could swear i say this car yesterday here aggresivley chasing a motorbike in a 30km/h zone...
i looked at it because the motor sounded like he had some power but i couldnt recognize the model or even the manufacturers logo...

is that possible???

heh i think it looks alright....would not mind having it while the mp3 is out of service....

One thing I'll say about saturns, there is no mistaking them for any other car maker. A saturn will ALWAYS be a saturn. I have read on this forum that people have mistaken the MP5 for the Lexis IS Sportcross. That would NEVER happen in a saturn!

Somebody has an ION at my apartment complex. I swear the wheel gap is about 4" if not more. It would look decent if it didn't have that wheel gap. DECENT.

Ditto. I just don't think I will ever drive a GM car....

What about a Saab? Those things look so good now. They really improved the body styling on those. I'm glad they ditched the watermelon seed hatchback look.

Not a big fan of them. I meant the Main GM models though (Chevy/GMC/Saturn/Pontiac/etc...)

i don't know - my next car could easily be a Pontiac Solstice drop top - supercharged 2.4 with a six speed from the Corvette and suspension from the WRX and rear wheel drive? all for $20k - sign me up

(werd) the solstice looks sweet, but i wouldnt buy it just because its a pontiac...........................

i had a saturn and i will never go back to it again. the problem here, is that it may have 215 hp and all the other goodies, but at the end of the day, you're still driving a plastic saturn. :)

I totally agree...those 9-3's are looking BADASS

I think that
-Ford has the Focus SVT,
-Dodge has the SRT-4,
-Mitsubishi has the EVOVIII,
-Mazda...MSP
-Subaru...WRX sti.
-s***, BMW even has the Mini.

Chevy has NOTHING! They're using the wrong car to try to break into the market though. That Saturn's ugly as sin. It looks like the bastard child of an RSX in the front and a Taurus in the rear.

You forgot that Nissan has the SE-R, Toyota has the Celica, Honda has the Civic SI, VW the GTI and R32, and on and on. BMW also has the 1 series coming to compete in the Sport Compact car market. Chevy will have the all new Cobalt SS which will be a Cavalier LS sport or Z24 replacement. Yeah I think th ION is ugly but the new REdline VUE has the 3.5 l V6 from Honda. GM and Honda are working together???
