New shift knob

Hey I just got a new shift knob from a ebay dealer. The guy's in Denmark (i think) and does custom LED shift knobs. Anyways, I got the knob and there's two wires. Does anyone know where I can tap it into? One of the wires is all black and the other has a white stripe. Pictures coming soon..

I would tap the wires for the cigarette lighter or tap a fuse in the panel under the glove box.

yeah, another member, Element has one. Its pretty awesome, and they are supposed to be great quality...but the only issue is that they are supposed to not be weighted, so shifting could suck with one of those knobs

Also the bolt that holds the knob on could damage the threads on the shifter. And from what I've heard, if comes loose pretty often and you will need to keep tightening it.

I tapped my into the the lighter so it comes on only when the head lights come on....but it came loose often....keep your tightning tool with you at all times. I went back to stock.... wont use another non-threaded knob again.

Alright I got it installed. Yeah I tapped it into the cigarette lighter in the front. I tried doing the one in the back but it was kinda hard to reach. It looks pretty cool, and it matches the red lighting in the car perfectly. Right now, it's kept in place by three screws just tightened onto the shifter but yeah, it's a bit loose. I know a friend that says he might be able to help me with that, but he'll have to take a look at the knob, so we'll see how that goes. Anyways, I'll post up some pictures tomorrow of how the LED looks at night.
