I picked up some new wheels, deal I couldnt refuse, Ill save the grand and put it into the engine for now until I get a really nice set of wheels.
These are VSR 18x8 offset 38, 25.7lbs but being wider actually makes it about the same or lighter if it was the stock size. They sit flush with the fenders like wheels are suppose to, that why I didnt get the stock offset because they sit too far in and dont look right, sorry everyone. Anyone looking to get 18x8 I would get a 38offset because it looks perfect. I went in a parking lot and did some donuts and didnt hear any rubbing, TPMS fit fine, the tires are a little stretched though, Ill buy some 245 40 18s after the stockers burn out. I like how they look in person more than the pics but oh well. Car looks a lot more aggresive now! Overall wheel base with these wheels would be about an 1in to 1 1/2 wider, I cant remember stock offset though 48 or 52. But gaining a 1/4 on each wheels outside width and then having 10mm less (more) on each side would make it that much wider. Cars dirty cause of rain, and I had to use my gfs camera so the pics are not up to par with my other pics. But the general idea.
And I plain on painting my calipers this week glossy silver, and yes my Flying M is off the trunk, I wanted to see how far apart the holes were, Im putting a different emblem and then possibly just shaving it off.
Stock vs New, looks more than a half in, different companies and wheels
