I picked up some new wheels, deal I couldnt refuse, Ill save the grand and put it into the engine for now until I get a really nice set of wheels.

These are VSR 18x8 offset 38, 25.7lbs but being wider actually makes it about the same or lighter if it was the stock size. They sit flush with the fenders like wheels are suppose to, that why I didnt get the stock offset because they sit too far in and dont look right, sorry everyone. Anyone looking to get 18x8 I would get a 38offset because it looks perfect. I went in a parking lot and did some donuts and didnt hear any rubbing, TPMS fit fine, the tires are a little stretched though, Ill buy some 245 40 18s after the stockers burn out. I like how they look in person more than the pics but oh well. Car looks a lot more aggresive now! Overall wheel base with these wheels would be about an 1in to 1 1/2 wider, I cant remember stock offset though 48 or 52. But gaining a 1/4 on each wheels outside width and then having 10mm less (more) on each side would make it that much wider. Cars dirty cause of rain, and I had to use my gfs camera so the pics are not up to par with my other pics. But the general idea.

And I plain on painting my calipers this week glossy silver, and yes my Flying M is off the trunk, I wanted to see how far apart the holes were, Im putting a different emblem and then possibly just shaving it off.

Wont wheels/tires that stick our like that throw crap all over the side of the fenders? I would think there are going to be alot more scratches down around your fenders just behind each tire.

Also what about curbs they seem to look vulnerable to rash.

I think the car looks great. I am not usually a fan of rivets but they break the wheel up a bit.

Very nice man...I have been waiting to see what kind of color combos people were going to toss on the cosmic blues...nice choice

Thanks all for the comps. I never liked the bolts either but with these wheels I think they go good, and I bought lugnuts to match the bolts too, so a little extra flow aswell. I wasnt planning on getting another set of black wheels, it just kind of happend. Im happy though! I need to break down and buy a new camera and get some "nice" pics of it. Everyone thats seen it in person is like, Dammnnn man nice, people I dont even know lol, the stance looks so much more aggresive because there right in line with everything, the car looks a little wider because of it, I like em!

As for "CuRBing them WHiteBoy" If you know how to drive you dont have problems with that ;) and as far as flinging crap on my doors or fenders or whatever your talking about.... I dont think that will be a problem, I never had a problem with that on my eclipse or other cars, and Ive never heard any of my friends complain about there "proper" offset, so no I dont think Ill have a problem with that, I dont exactly drive down dirt roads everyday..... Your always so negative...

Im going to be painting the calipers silver this weekend and I also got my boost gauge in the mail. My dealer hasnt let me know if they got my vent in though, I bought a new vent to mount my boost gauge in, my girlies goin to florida for the weekend though so I wont any pics until next week. Im hoping corksport stayes on schedule with my Autoexe front, Im suppose to get it the second week of June, which is next week! And Im going to buy my final peice for my Fmic on friday, the core, It will be black and have ETS stenciled on it. So much stuff happening, After thats all done the car should really look B.A.!

Ill keep everyone posted with my thoughts and pics of everything!(beer)

Will the wheels rub on the inside with that offset? I thought it was a bit odd of Mazda to offer such a narrow stock tire. I'd be afraid of tearing up the inside of the tires though, when going over to a wider tire on that rim.

Black wheels on cosmic blue are hawt! Can't say I'm a fan of the rivets though. I think black with chrome/polish around the lip would look better. Looks better from far away. You going to paint your calipes too?

A better title for the thread would have been "Nu Shooz". Added points if you could have worked in the phrase "I can't wait".
