new set of 18s

So what's the right size offset for our cars using 18's or 19's?

Also, 225/45/18 is barely wider/larger than factory (215/50/17)

These things look great...

Are you guys sure???

yeah beleve crossbow...it's cheaper to roll then to replace and paint! RX-8 rims are the shiznit. look for my post titled RX-8 rim obsesion here, mazda 3 and RX8 rims options on 6 tech, and clubatenza has a few cars with them on so you can get an actual view of what they look like on the car vs the time to make a photoshop.

Ya I'm 150% sure the rx8 wheels rub in the rear without rolling the fenders. (With the stock rx8 tires).

I've confirmed it in person, and many CA members with the wheels have confirmed it as well. Its just ever so slightly. You could actually get away without even a full roll, just a slight tuck. (Though I'd do a full roll anyway).

Remember when it comes to wheels/tires, always look for the single person that says it rubs. Even if you see 100 people saying it doesn't...if one guy says it does, it usually means it will. There seems to be some sort of disease with wheels/tires with people being a bit...obvlious to whether they rub or not. I think it has something to do with the monatary investment in the setup. People spend alot of money on wheels, they don't want to be told that they bought the wrong setup. So they kinda of go all mental blank on the whole issue.

The image I posted early of the obvious tire damage...that was from a 6club member that posted that his combo didn't rub....=/

I have 17x8 +48 with 225/45/17 and I had to roll.

here you go crossbow what do you think??
i got the fenders rolled ~ even with full tank of gas
i dont rub anymore (driving very carefully avoiding ANY holes or bumps)
im pretty sure itll rub once i lower it...
it looks pretty flush in persons eye but digital doesnt lieee..
rear wheels looks like they got some negative camber..

If you have a good relationship with the dealer they will do it. They don't have to mount a new tire on a new rim, just pull one off of a RX8 on the lot. As long as they know you are not some flake they will do that, a good dealer would.

Exactly.
I'm going there next weekend.
