New Seats?

Hi, I'm just looking around for some new front seats.
Something sporty but still comfortable. I saw the Sparco R100s but unsure if there are better ones out there.
Anyone have any suggestions or pictures of what they have now?

I have a friend with a 2011 Mazda3, and another with a 2011 MS3. Everytime I ride in either of their cars the thought goes though my mind that either of these seats would be great in my 2. I need to convince one of my friends to do a trial swap of the passengers seat at least to see what would need to be done (if anything) to make the more supportive and sporty seat fit in the 2.

On a side-note, I have another friend who put a Recaro seat in his RSX. He loves it, however on a day to day basis, it seems kinda like a PITA. I don't know what model seat he has, but it's a fixed seat that is non-reclining.

Yeah, please come back with results. I'm keen to know if there are any Mazda compatible seats for the 2. Highly doubt it but who knows. Imagine if the Rx8 seats could be swapped in!

same, i think of all the cars that ive had before this M2, these seats are prety decent!

Yeah I just have to replace the cloth. I've always had leather or vinyl and I can't stand how easily cloth is stained or dirtied.
The seats are very comfy though, so I might just reupholster it with leather.

Did a rough measure of my buddies passenger seat in his '11 Mazda3s. The measurements are very similar to those of the 2. So in a few weeks We're going to remove the seat and try to fit it to my 2.

Are Mazda 3 and Mazdaspeed 3 seats interchangeable? Then it's the question of the airbags, think the 2 software will register the seat side airbags?

If the 3 seats fit in the two, then I'd assume the MS seats would too. As for the airbag soft ware, I guess I'll see if I get any lights....

The stock seats aren't too bad. I'm surprised at how well they are bolstered for a 100hp car.

I really liked the seats in my 318is E30. They were not too deep, and had better bolstering in my eyes than the 2 does. I don't like the fact that I feel the need to hold onto other things then the steering wheel, and the shifter while I'm taking corners fast... I would love some deeper buckets for this car. Even if it is just the driver seat.

Yeah, I am also not a fan of our seats. They feel great when you aren't moving. Take any corner with any amount of speed and I've got to brace on the center console and non-existent dead pedal. On track it's ridiculous.

Totally agree with you there.
I ended up purchasing 4 sparco seats to replace the inside. I'm getting rid of that bench!
I'll have to redo the carpeting.... that's gonna be costly....
