Pirelli P-Zero Nero's were shot so I ended up going with Goodyear GT's on the recommendation of my dealer. I don't usually go for Goodyear (average product IMO) but the new GT's appear to be a horse of a different color. VERY aggressive thread and I'd say about 5mm wider thans to a very aggressive rim protector. Where the Pirelli's sat within the wheel wells, teh GT's are sticking a little further out.
After driving on them for about a 100 miles I'm pretty happy with their performance, except for a slight vibration over 85mph and a slight on-center vagueness at high speeds. Noise wise these are a huge improvement over the Pirellis. They aren't quiet persay but the type of noise they produce is not irritating in fact I've found that I can more clearly make out the exhaust note and turbo sound of the MS3! Sound crazy yes, but since I got the new tires the car sound more "musical" when accelerating and punching it in 4th. Less drone, more growl. Overall a much better driving experience on the highway.
Call me crazy...
I'll try and post picts in the next day or so.
