New Rims

So I found some rims that I happen to like, an older Konig rim that used to be on my friends Altima.

They are 19in and do did suprise me when I put them on the car, also raised it a little bit higher than it used to sit.

How many Mazda 3's have you seen with 19in rims ?

At this point no work is done to it to make it any faster so at this point I am not concerned about how it will change the handling, I am not going to be able to afford to do anything about its performance until early next year.

Just curious what your opinions are.

Handling and ride height will be affected more by the tire you choose. The only reason I would advise against riding 19's is that it really limits your options in terms of tire choice.

Depending on which model they are, it might slow your car down a miniscule amount due to an increase in unsprung weight. But this will be mostly negligible.
