Sweetest Car Ever
alright, so i went to the dealership ta see about gettin new rear brake pads and they said they didnt have em yet or sumthin, i dunno?? but both of my back rims have little black dots all over them. its not just dust because i tried wipin em off, scrubbin em off, and nuthin worked. so when i was at the dealership i asked one of my friends that works up there and he said that i should be able to get new rims because of that.
on a different note....today i was driving and my power steering went out?? i was like WTF. the warning light on the dash came on and then once i pulled over and got to about 10 mph it kicked back on. it was too late and the dealership was closed so i guess if it does it again ill take it in. this happen to anyone else?

Never happened to me, but you think black spots are maybe chips from rocks etc? don't know what kind of driving conditions you drive under. How many miles u got?

no their not chips, my front rims still look brand new and the rears like s***. ive got about 4,500 miles on my car.

my guess is when the car came into get PDI's they got some overspray undercoating on the wheels. my P5, RS,EVO all had some on the wheels.
guys here must be drunk LOL

I have those black pits on the front chrome wheels on my PT Cruiser. They are hard to get off. Try a dish sponge that has the scrubber on one side. That might take it off.
