New Project Done - Shift Beeper Installation

I installed the Modfry's Redline Shift Beeper in my MS3 today. I must say I'm very impressed and happy with how it went. So far its one of the best mods I have installed due to how fast our 1-2nd and 2nd-3rd shifts are. Personally I love it. During normal driving you never have it go off, but get on it and you have a very nice shift warning.

I will be doing a DIY in a few minutes. The end result is that at 5k I get the first beep, 5200 the 2nd, 5400 the 3rd and steady at 5600RPM. This is selectable of course as I set my shift point to 5500RPM.

I used the MSD Tach GMR 8918 so I worked with Bob on the Redline and he tweeked one for me to work on 1cyl as he only supported 4, 6 8 and Viper. He said its very easy to do so if anyone else is interrested in doing the same type of project, just send Bob a mail.

Nah the installation is very simple. It only took about an hour to complete. Mainly just crimping wires together.

However, you pay for my ticket and set me up with a place to crash I will be more than happy to come to Jamaica and install it for yah :)
