New Problem.... GRRRR

HOLY s***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My tranny had NO fluid in it!!!! There was no sign of leakage which means they forgot to fill it up!!!!! AND there is oil leaking from the rear main seal!!!! This is a crock of s***.. Im calling corporate and giving them an earful! (pissed)
I feel sorry for them if they try to give me any warranty issues on this one cuz i will go off the wall big time. I really dont see how they could but they never cease to amaze me.

Tranny had NO oil whatsoever? I would think that you'd have seen a few more problems if the tranny was bone-dry...

Did you check through the filler hole, or the drain plug?

Alex

It had some fluid but not much.. It holds a lil over 2qts and it took a lil under 2qts to fill it up. I just cant get over this crap.

s***, if the dealership is that bad I would check your engine to make sure they put oil in it LOL. No s*** though, do a full engine check yourself. Document all of these problems (and have the dealership document that they failed to put oil in on your receipt). You may be able to get a free extended warantee for negligence. Plus, you may be able to get them to cover your unnecessary transportation costs to the dealership. Don't let them get away with not being able to do their job correctly, and in doing so make sure your car is protected so you don't end up paying an assload of repair costs in the future. Also, look into your receipt from the dealership and see if they documented replacing the fluids. If they put that they topped off the fluids then you really have them.

go to another dealer or do repairs yourself, I'd rather spend the money on tools and do it myself. after they repair the tranny of course.

Unfortunantly my knowledge is only book deep when it comes to cars. I wish i could do it or had the means but i just simply dont. And selling the car isnt an option because i still owe more than what most paid for theirs. I have a feeling this car will never be the same. I am going to beat the living hell out of someone at this dealership if they try to pull the s*** they did last time.

what did they do last time?
If youre refering to the engine rebuild they voided my warranty. I expected it but i took all my paperwork and laid out everything in front of a retired judge and he says that i need to sue them because what they did is technically illegal. So that is what im gonna do. He said that if it were him he'd vote in my favor so thats good news.

s*** happens (the tech's aren't machines and do make mistakes) ever been one?
Actually yes... not a car mechanic but a network technician. But seriously these guys are for the most part complete idiots. Im not going into it all over again. but they are idiots. Mistakes are understandable when they are minimal ...not constant.
