ok so my friend got a new forge bpv and street unit hot pipe. when he shifts he doesnt get any turkey. is it supposed to not turkey?

beats me, i get turkey, but i also have a CAI that was hacked up so the tubing route i have for the BPV is kinked. not ideal but im kind of short on options. anyways that definitely doesnt help my turkey issue

I could never figure why people call it turkey. When i surge it never sounds like a turkey but more like my compressor is stalling lol

When I bought mine, I was told the same thing. Previous owner told me it really got peoples attention and for some reason it was super loud stock.... probably the CAI amplifies it. Even the maintenance records show mention of it as well.

(uhm)

unusual, yes, bad, no. Se-R cyclops runs a setup with the stock recirculation fitting and gets no turkey, axe him about it.

Compressor surge means the turbine is stalling and air is forcing back across the blades. That is hard on them and can cause faster then normal wear.
