AHHHHH!!!!!!! Just read this thread and found out they're supposed to go on the outside!!! I took off my bumper- took out the headlamps- and then took them apart and put the overlays over the corners themselves.

It was hard to get them to look good and I was starting to wonder how others were able to get them to look ok. Ohh man- this has taken me 4 hours to do and lots of broken parts- and now I'm unsure if I even want to keep them like this.

Just for refference Blue Batmobile- maybe add an insert telling those who buy these overlays- that they're supposed to go on the outside. I may now look for possible clear corner inserts or just order another set from you. (sad1)

P.S. The overlays in my sig are digital ones lol.

damn that sucks.. you thought these overlays went on top of the bulb..wouldnt they just melt? hmm..i can't believe you made that mistake...no offense

i dunno, but has anyone else noticed the word OVERlay twice in his post?

They don't go ontop of the bulb lol- ontop of the corner piece. I doubt they'll melt, but who knows.

I feel really dumb for doing it this way, but honestly I didn't think it was supposed to go any other way. My focus was on the peice inside the headlamp and not the headlight cover.

actually it looks great, man. I was thinking you removed the reflector for some reason..looks awesome and it'll last longer in the housing like that..
