Okay guys heres the scoop.

No new calibration of the flash. The New TSB was only there to change procedure, in which they tell you to not remove fuses and you don't have to test drive anymore.

I called Mazda Tech Line to ask them why it said it had a different calibration, I was told the calibration did not change, however the procedure that the WDS prompts you to had changed.

Sucks eh. Get an MPI and you can give yourself your own new "flash".

Bastard's, and everyone says "**** you mazda" (fu)

Bump for updates......

edit: I just sent my dealer an email. We shall see what he says.
edit:I also contacted Commie Speed to see what he could find.

I say screw it. Tell them you want it. If it's the same, so what and if it's different then cool. Also this thing about the flashed cars running lean....just not true. My flashed 03.5 is PIG rich when in any kind of boost level.

AFAIK the flash only advances the timing. The fuel input stays the same (uberrich). The danger being that if you boost a lot (I'd say over 10 psi with stock SMIC) there is risk of detonation (the boom factor!). In hi-boost situation normally the timing should be retarded (like our ECU lol!)...
Anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

OK so is this information final that there is no new flash? My local dealer practically doesn't even know what a flash is, so I am having a hard time on this one. Also, if this is not a new flash, which is the most recent flash that actually did have some significant improvement, and when was it released? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
