New Paint Soon...Suggestions!

So my car is going to get a fresh coat of paint this spring. I originally had planned to just respray it the original sunlight silver as well as put on my rear lip and side skirts. I have been thinking about painting middle of the hood, roof and trunk black and blacking out the tail lights. Here are 2 photos of the car from a while ago, can anyone photoshop the hood, trunk (including spoiler) and roof in black? I don't have the program nor the ability to do it.

I will be leaving the door molding off. Any other suggestions?

I would go a shade darker silver with a larger metal flake, not too much darker though but enough to set it apart from all the others. If the shop mixes their own paint for each job they can change the mix formula and document the changes for your future reference so no worries later on as far as touch-ups. If they don't mix their own colors find out where they buy their paint and go there and have the store custom mix it. I sold quite a bit of custom mixed colors during my days in an automotive parts and paint store. As far as the black on the top, I think it would be hard to find a good looking end point on the trunk. Just my 2 cents. Good luck, nice looking car btw.

I'll definitely keep that in mind. The more I have thought about it the more I think I may stay all silver. It just looks clean. As for the color, my Aunt actually was just certified as a painter and she just finished building her shop so she will be doing it for me and will be mixing the paint so the options are endless.

That is even better! You could have her mix small amounts and do spray outs to show the colors.

I am contemplating a body/paint job as i have a bit of bubbling on the fender, in seeing your looking to a color change, how much more time is involved in a paint job with a color change vrs. same stock color?

i know that it would require more work as im looking at a red (stock) to Dark Charcoal Metallic change
