New Owner saying Hello!

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a 2013 Mazda Mazda5 Touring as my daily vehicle! My weekend warrior is a 1989 Mazda RX-7 Turbo-II!

I hope to learn a lot about the Mazda5! If anyone can comment on my quick questions, it would be greatly appreciated!

-What are some issues I may run into with a Mazda5
-Is anyone running a roof rack? If so, where can I get a rack? Fitment?

Welcome to the group. What you will begin to notice over time is that its a very solid car assembled with parts of varying quality. Keep up on your fluids and maintenance and you'll do fine with the stuff that is built well. The cheap parts will need to be replaced as they go bad. I think that by the facelift, most of the cheap parts seemed to have been filtered out, so you should be doing better that us that own 06/07s

-2013 is too new. Whatever that may come up, just remember how much car you got for the money and some minor repairs should be acceptable.
-There are roof rack and cargo boxes threads. Have a look around.

Yea, I've been looking around at roof rack systems. They are so pricey, haha.

By the way, if anyone owns an RX7 or anything on here, I do have the same user on rx7club, rx8club and rotarycarclub. And if anyone is a Subaru owner, I have to same user across those forums as well: socalsubies, rs25, iwsti and nasioc.

I hope to learn more about these awesome Mazda5's!
