once again this project is still in the early stages, but the wheels have been set in motion and a prototype should be started within a reasonable amount of time. thanks again for giving me support in this endevor.
i sent the email proposal to two companies. the first company seems to be jerking me around, but the second company seems intrested still. i will be setting up an appointment to look at designs when it is convient for both of us.
i am going to the shop tomorrow, i dont think that i will get a product actually on my car but we should get something done. i will let you all know when i get home.
well, i talked to the guys at raceline tuning and i am going back tomorrow to mock-fit a prototype. they said that "sure we will mass produce them, i will have someone sit back there and make them all day." the thing is that it looks like the price is going to be SLIGHTLY higher than expected. because of the heat shield it looks like it is going to be a few dollars more, but nothing that will tip the scales too much. i am headed out now, but tomorrow (if all things go correctly) i will have a mock sri that i can post pictures of. now, lets see who wants to buy one. im shooting for 15
