New Old Geezer on the Forum Who Didn't Install His Accessories!

Mazda CX-5
Hi, everyone. John from Stevens Point, Wisconsin here. Obviously, I'm new to the forum. I've had CX-9's and CX-5's over the years. Love the tight MAZDA suspension.

Anyway, I have a confession to share. I purchased a new 2021 CX-5 (Soul Red), and also bought some OEM front and rear mudguards and the factory carpeted rear cargo mat from the dealer's parts department. I immediately started enjoying the turbo and the handling, and let these accessories sit on my garage shelf. In short, I never installed them! We just traded the CX-5 in, and now want to get these unused OEM MAZDA accessories into the hands of someone who can use and enjoy them (and hopefully not simply store them, as I did).

I've just posted classified ads for these items here on the forum, along with good photos. Well, that's it for now. And, "thank you" MAZDAS247. John

Hi and welcome back, John…It appears you joined in 2010! Saw your listings in our Classifieds Forum, good pics indeed…I did notice that..😁

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for your cordial message, Antoine. Yes, my 2010 forum joining came on the heels of purchasing our new CX-9 at the time. A well thought through vehicle.

My wife, who was living the role of "Super Grandma" at the time, loved the three rows of seating. We eventually passed the MAZDA along to one of our daughters. Sadly, her son (one our precious grandkids) totaled the vehicle driving at age 16. Inattentive driving. Fortunately, he wasn't hurt, but still a sad ending for such a good MAZDA. Best regards, John

You reminded me that I still have a full body kit for my '16 Mazda6 GT ($400+ I spent on it). It is still sitting in my garage.

My wife takes every chance to remind of its existence....

Ceric....Have you considered moving your MAZDA 6 full body kit to somewhere where your dear wife won't see it?

But, even as I type those words, I realize such an attempted ruse would be to no avail. Our lovely ladies NEVER seem to forget these things! Best of luck to you. John
