New MSM owner

Hi Folks-
Just took advantage of the $3000 off the Mazdaspeed yesterday. I bought a red one with the leather. LOVE this car. Fast, nimble, more grown up than my old '90. July 5th was the last day for the rebates. I ended up getting it for $22,500 out the door. Nice deal. I bought the demo unit. It had 761 miles on it. I think I saved about $1500 right there. I say thanks for breaking it in. (Almost anyway). This is my 3rd Miata. I had a blue '91 about 10 years ago. Really missed that when I sold. Then recently bought a very nice '90. My downfall was test driving the MSM. I couldn't get it out of my mind. Well, that's about it. Let me know if anyone has any questions. I will be sure to ask quite a few myself.

Thanks man. It was the best car buying decision I've made in a long time. LOVE this thing. My girlfriend digs it big time. She's got it now. We're going to trade off with my BMW 325 and the Miata. She doesn't own a car. So, if I say "honey, I'm going to need the Miata this week" the best she can come back with is "bummer, I've got to drive the Beemer I guess". We just junked her old '84 Pontiac 2000, so she's in auto-heaven either way. I'm such a car freak. Life is good.

I've been wanting to trade up from my MSP and test drove a MSM today, and I'm ready to deal, to bad I missed the rebate. I will wait till it comes around again or towards end of year when they are ready to move them.

Just got an MSM with leather with the $1500 owner loyalty deal on July 9th out the door for $23.8K so not as good as this deal but it seems at least some of the rebate deals are still current if you ask - at least in California

You didnt miss the rebate. I am about to trade my 04 Miata in for the MSM with all of the rebates. Mazda said the rebate is good until Sept 6th.
